INAUGURATION OF GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

 The formal inauguration of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the College will be done by Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala Sri. V.S. Achutanandan at 10 AM on 6th May 2007 at the College Auditorium. The Revenue Minister Sri. K.P. Rajendran will preside over the function. MPs, MLAs, District Collector, DTE, Alumni and Senior Staff Representatives and College Union Chairman will offer felicitations. You are cordially invited to attend the function. (Dr.K.V. A gift from1994 Batch Alumni

 The 1994 B Tech Batch Chemical Engineering Alumni are planning to hand over the amount collected by their class to the Department on 6th May 2007 after the Inauguration of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations. Their contribution is meant for instituitng suitable scheme for the benefit of the students and the Department of Chemical Engineering.

 KOCHI REFINERIES HAVE HELPED US IN SETTING UP A MODELS LAB BY DONATING EQUIPMENT PARTS LIKE TRAYS, VALVES, BURNERS, ETC. WE ACKNOWLEDGE THE ROLE PLAYED BY OUR ALUMNI AT KRL UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF SRI. ANUJAN S. OF 1976-81 BATCH IN ARRANGING THIS WONDERFUL GIFT.

 IN THE GOLDEN JUBILEE YEAR OF THE COLLEGE, THE DEPARTMENT PROUDLY REMEMBERS THE SILVER JUBILEE REUNION GIFT TO THE DEPARTMENT WORTH MORE THAN RS. 100,000 BY THE 1976-1981 BATCH CHEMICALS: CHEMICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT NOW OWNS A FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED SEMINAR HALL, THANKS TO THEM. SILVER JUBILEE REUNION OF 76-81 BATCH WAS ARRANGED IN THE DEPARTMENT ON 29TH JULY, 2006.

FRESH OFFERS FROM CHEMICAL ENGINEERING ALUMNI

  THE 1979-84 BATCH CHEMICAL ENGINEERING ALUMNI ARE PLANNING TO PROVIDE THE DEPARTMENT LIBRARY WITH BOOKS WORTH Rs. 100,000. THEY ARE PLANNING TO HAND OVER THIS GIFT TO THE DEPARTMENT MOST PROBABLY IN APRIL, 2007 AT A FUNCTION ORGANIZED FOR THIS PURPOSE. THE 1993 BATCH ALUMNI IS PLANNING TO INSTITUTE AN ENDOWMENT FUND TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP TO THE DESERVING STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT. THE FINAL SHAPE OF THEIR OFFER WILL BE LET KNOWN BY THE END OF MARCH, 2007. MR. JAYALRISHNAN HAS INFORMED US THAT THEY ARE ALMOST THROUGH WITH THEIR COLLECTION DRIVE.
